Arsenal defeated Watford by 4-1 in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Wednesday. This was the second win this week.

Arsenal's lead was given to Eddie Nketiah by Willian, who received Willian's brilliant through ball. It was inserted low from the box into the far corner. Spurs win: Alli wins against the former side

Dele Alli scored against his old club, as Tottenham beat MK Dons 3-1. This was to keep their unbeaten preseason. MK Dons' Matt O'Riley was saved an early penalty by Alfie Whiteman. Spurs' Heung-Min Son scored a goal to make it 2-0, after Franco Ravizzoli's brilliant work.

Leicester beaten, Leeds held at Blackburn

Wycombe, a League One side, beat Leicester 1-0 at Adams Park. Daryl Horgan scored the only goal with 14 minutes left. Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds played in an entertaining 1-1 draw against Blackburn Rovers. Connor McBride scored for the hosts in the 73rd minutes, before Pascal Struijk equalized with nine minutes remaining. Positive Covid-19 results led to both Aston Villa's friendly match with Nottingham Forest and Norwich against Coventry being canceled.
