Hart, a former England international, is now surplus to Spurs' needs after the signing of Pierluigi Gollini in this summer's transfer. The Italian will be competing with Hugo Lloris to earn a spot in the first team. Hart, 34, still has one year on the two-year contract he signed last summer with Spurs. Celtic, who were knocked out in the qualifying rounds of the Champions League on Wednesday, also have interest in Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster. Tottenham will sell some of their first-teamers this summer to fund their rebuilding of the squad.
Both Tottenham and the player are looking into the deal, but they're not in any hurry to sign it. Spurs have sold Alderweireld to Qatari side Al-Dulhail SC and are yet to replace him, leaving their center-back options limited ahead of the new season. The club is still in negotiations to sign Cristian Romero, Atalanta's football player. Tanganga would like to be in Tottenham's first team but would prefer to remain in the Premier League, if he was to leave on loan. Southampton and Burnley expressed interest in him previously if he is available.
